Imagine having your students develop their own assessment criteria. Imagine if the onus was on each student to provide evidence of learning to the teacher! In this session we will share tales of gradually shifting the responsibility of learning and assessment from teacher to student in Division 3 and 4 settings.  We will describe the process of co-creating criteria, creating student-developed rubrics and share stories of student engagement and success.
