In this session I will show you how Google classroom works, but also a plethora of Google apps, Chrome extensions, and websites that I use regularly to make my classroom accessible, fun, and engaging for all of my students. Come bring your laptop or tablet if you have one.

Let the Students Do the Thinking!
Imagine having your students develop their own assessment criteria. Imagine if the onus was on each student to provide evidence of learning to the teacher! In this session we will share tales of gradually shifting the responsibility of learning and assessment from teacher to student in Division 3 and 4 settings.  We will describe the process of co-creating criteria, creating student-developed rubrics and share stories of student engagement and success.
